Mike and Adam have been teammates for over 10 years dating back to flag football with the Bartlett Raiders. They have remained teammates through high school although they will part ways at the end of this spring’s lacrosse season they will have many memories of their years as teammates.  As lacrosse teammates Mike and Adam have a nice resume which heralds an undefeated Sophomore season in which they sweep The Cadet Classic and won the conference title, a Junior season which boasts a strong season capped with a conference best record and a solid start to Bartlett High Schools first season at the Varsity level in the IHSLA.

Mike will be joining The Elmhurst Blue Jays for their inaugural season in lacrosse starting spring 2013. Mike has been playing lacrosse for 7 years and has been the captain of the BHS LAX team and holds the club record for most CCH (Crease Clearing Hits). Elmhurst Coach, Andrew Geison is looking forward to the addition of a local recruit to fill out the team. Elmhurst Athletic Director, Paul Krohn is excited at the response Elmhurst has had for recruits, both nationally and locally joining The Blue Jays in the fastest sport on two feet. Mike will be studying secondary education at Elmhurst with the intent to teach High School Math and apply his leadership skills while coaching at the high school level.

Adam will be joining the Defiance College Yellow Jackets this fall to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice. Coach Ryan Kuhn is looking forward to the addition of a recruit with the commitment to lacrosse that Adam has displayed during his career with BHS lacrosse. In addition to playing defense Adam brings to Defiance the versatility of being able to play LSM (long stick middie). Adam adds to his accomplishments on the field with the honor of having been awarded the Most Sportsmanship award at The Cadet Classic.

Although Adam and Mike will report to their respective schools and teams this fall they will have the opportunity to be on the field together again as both Defiance and Elmhurst are in the MLC (Midwest Lacrosse Conference). The schedules have been posted for spring 2013 these two teams will be meeting at Elmhurst College on April 27th, 2013 which will be an exciting reunion for these two former teammates.
